Microsatellite (SSR) amplification by PCR usually led to polymorphic bands: Evidence which shows replication slippage occurs in extend or nascent DNA strands
Microsatellites or simple sequence repeats (SSRs) are very effective molecular markers in population genetics, genome mapping, taxonomic study and other large-scale studies. Variation in number of tandem repeats within microsatellite refers to simple sequence length polymorphism (SSLP); but there are a few studies that are showed SSRs replication slippage may be occurred during in vitro amplifi...

OBJECTIVE Essential tremor (ET), one of the most common neurological disorders, comprises uncontrollable tremor, usually in the upper extremities. Idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus (iNPH) features ventricular enlargement in the absence of elevated intracranial pressure; its three cardinal symptoms are gait impairment, incontinence, and dementia. iNPH is among the most common medical prob...
متن کاملTo Clone or Not To Clone: Method Analysis for Retrieving Consensus Sequences In Ancient DNA Samples
The challenges associated with the retrieval and authentication of ancient DNA (aDNA) evidence are principally due to post-mortem damage which makes ancient samples particularly prone to contamination from "modern" DNA sources. The necessity for authentication of results has led many aDNA researchers to adopt methods considered to be "gold standards" in the field, including cloning aDNA amplico...
متن کاملA Polymorphic Language Which Is Typable and Poly-step
A functional language ΛLA is given. A sub-set Λ T LA of ΛLA is automatically typable. The types are formulas of Intuitionistic Light Affine Logic with polymorphism à la ML. Every term of ΛLA can reduce to its normal form in, at most, poly-steps. ΛLA can be used as a prototype of programming language for P-TIME algorithms.
